The scheme “Construction of Solar Pump-Based Lift Irrigation Projects (For Hilly Areas)” was launched by the Department of Minor Irrigation, Government of Uttarakhand. Who qualifies
- The beneficiary must be a resident of Uttarakhand.
- The beneficiary must be a farmer engaged in agricultural activities.
- Collective irrigation projects will be constructed under the project.
- The project cost must not exceed ₹4.00 lakh per hectare, and the benefit-cost ratio must be greater than 1.0.
- The project is to be implemented specifically in hilly areas.
