Who qualifies
- The beneficiary must be a resident of Uttarakhand.
- The beneficiary is eligible for this scheme under the municipal body area.
- The annual income of the beneficiary's family must be less than ₹3.00 lakh, as per the standards of the Government of India.
What you get
- Under the Self-Employment Programme, the beneficiary in urban areas enhances their livelihood while strengthening their own and their family’s economic condition. - Under the Self-Employment Programme, the beneficiary is provided a loan of up to ₹2.00 lakh through the bank. - There is a provision for interest subsidy under the Self-Employment Programme, where 7% of the interest is borne by the beneficiary and the remaining is shared by the Government of India and the State Government. - Under the Self-Employment Programme, the beneficiary can generate new employment and also expand existing employment opportunities.
