The scheme "Disability Pension," introduced by the Himachal Pradesh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (HPBOCWWB), Government of Himachal Pradesh, provides a monthly pension of ₹500/- to registered beneficiaries in case of disability caused by accidents or diseases. Additionally, a lump sum of ₹50,000/- is granted if the disability is more than 50%., and ₹25,000/- is granted if the disability is more than 50%.

Who qualifies

For Registration

  • The applicant should be a resident of Himachal Pradesh.
  • The applicant should be a Building or Construction Worker.
  • The age of the applicant should be between 18 and 60 years.
  • The applicant should have worked in building or construction activities for at least 90 days in the preceding 12 months.

_*The registration should be renewed annually._

For Application

  • The worker should be engaged in building or construction work.
  • The worker should be registered under the Himachal Pradesh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (HPBOCWWB).
  • The worker should have an active membership with the Board.
  • The worker should be a Person with Disability (PwD).
  • The disability should have been caused due to an accident or an illness.
