Who qualifies

  • The applicant must be a resident of Uttarakhand.
  • The applicant must be a farmer and must hold a valid Udhyan Card.
  • The applicant must have either their own land or land on lease.
  • All women members of self-help groups are also eligible to avail benefits under the scheme.

What you get

Under this scheme, a subsidy of 75% of the cost, up to ₹33,300/- per unit, is provided for setting up vermicompost units (including pit construction and provision of earthworms).
