Who qualifies

  • The applicant must be a resident of Uttarakhand.
  • The applicant must be either disaster-affected individual or involved in disaster relief or preparedness-related activities.
  • The extent and cause of the disability must be certified by a doctor from a government hospital or dispensary.

Under this scheme, an ex-gratia grant of ₹74,000/- is provided to each affected person. In cases where the disability exceeds 60%, a higher amount of ₹2,50,000/- per person is provided.
