The scheme “Kisan-Vaigyanik Sangoshthi” is implemented by the Uttarakhand Council for Biotechnology under the Department of Agriculture, Government of Uttarakhand. Who qualifies
- The applicant must be a resident of Uttarakhand.
- The applicant must be a youth, a farmer, a member of a self-help group, or a livestock farmer.
What you get
Through Kisan-Vaigyanik Sangoshthi, the Council provides technical guidance from subject matter experts to the state’s farmers, helping to address challenges in biotechnology-based agriculture and animal husbandry. The Council also continuously works to improve farmers’ livelihoods and promote self-employment by sharing technical knowledge on hydroponics, soilless farming, kiwifruit cultivation, fish farming, beekeeping, vegetable production, and floriculture.
