Who qualifies

  • The applicant must be a fisherman from Uttarakhand.
  • Fishermen are provided assistance for the repair or replacement of damaged boats and for damaged or lost nets caused by natural disasters.

What you get

Under this scheme, the following compensation is provided to fishermen for the repair or replacement of damaged boats and nets:

  • ₹6,000/- for the repair of partially damaged boats
  • ₹3,000/- for the repair of partially damaged nets
  • ₹15,000/- for the repurchase of completely damaged boats
  • ₹4,000/- for the repurchase of completely damaged nets

An investment subsidy of ₹10,000/- per hectare is provided for fish seed farms.
