Who qualifies

  • The applicant should be a citizen of India.
  • The applicant should be a permanent resident of Meghalaya.
  • The applicant should be a Student.
  • He/ She should belong to Scheduled Casts (SC)/ Scheduled Tribes (ST)/ Other Backward Classes (OBC).
  • He/ She should be pursuing a regular course of studies in a recognized institution.
  • The student's guardian/parents should be citizens of India.
  • He/she should not be receiving financial assistance from the Indian government's Post Matric Scholarship for SC/ST students and other government central and state scholarship schemes.
  • He/she should not be a government/non-government employee.
  • He/she should not be a repeater in the same class more than once.
