Who qualifies

For Secondary Schools:

  • The applicant should be an institution approved by the State Government.
  • The school should be operated by a registered society or trust under the Societies Registration Act, 1860.
  • The managing committee should be duly constituted and approved by Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC).
  • The institution must have a student strength meeting the prescribed norms.
  • The school’s examination pass rate should be at least 41%.
  • Utilization certificates for previously received grants must be submitted.

For Madrasas/Sanskrit Schools:

  • The applicant should be a recognized and registered madrasa or Sanskrit school in Jharkhand.
  • The managing committee should be duly constituted.
  • The institution must meet student strength norms.
  • The pass percentage should not be below 41%.

For Intermediate Colleges:

  • The applicant should be a permanently approved institution under Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC).
  • The college must be operated by a registered society or trust under the Societies Registration Act, 1860.
