No documentation checks for this scheme The nine checks measure what myScheme publishes about a scheme. There is no myScheme record here to measure, so this page shows none. A score of nought would read as a verdict on the scheme when it is a fact about the portal.

What Haryana publishes about this

From the state’s own budget books · myScheme has no record of it

Centre Share: `9,00,00,000/- State Share: `6,00,00,000/- The State of Haryana is providing water supply to the residents as per IS 10500. To ensure and monitor quality of drinking water, PHED has established 44 laboratories at various levels. Following tests are conducted to ensure prescribed quality of water: - (a) All the ground water sources are tested at least twice a year for Chemical contamination i.e. one before monsoon and another after monsoon. Bacteriological samples are tested as per requirements. The test results are being monitored and if the water samples found contaminated the re-testing is being done and after confirmation of the contamination, the suitable remedies is also taken up. (b) Tests of WQ through Field testing Kits: Every year tests are being conducted through FTKs to aware public about the quality of water at their doorsteps. This scheme is the component of JJM which is utilized for water quality monitoring and laboratories related activities, to ensure the quality of drinking water. This includes salary component of contractual staff engaged in laboratories. Under this component sharing is done in the ratio of 60:40 between Centre and State respectively.

How this was judged a scheme rather than a budget head A state budget book lists colleges, directorates and building heads beside schemes. This row scored 1 on published signals: a benefit word in the name; the provision is works money and not establishment money; the Centre shares the cost. It does NOT clear the higher bar this register uses before saying a scheme is hidden from citizens, so it is listed here and not named there. Listing a budget head as a scheme is an annoyance; naming one as hidden would be a false accusation, and the two are not the same claim.
