This scheme has been started with an objective of providing self-employment opportunities to the unemployed persons in the State by establishing Sheep/Goat units of 10 Female +1 Male for SC/BPL/Widow and Landless General, BC and Other Category families free of cost. Further assistance would also be provided for insurance of the livestock. In addition to this assistance for purchasing of wool from established unit would be done by the department. All the animals of established unit will be provided deworming, vaccination and treatment free of cost by concerned Veterinary Institution (Animal Husbandry & Dairying Department).
