Archives is the only source for keeping an account of daily activities of the Government for posterity. Government Plans can be chalked out on the basis of records. IT Plan of the Department has been prepared and the Websites of the head office have been developed. In the present scenario of computer age, the Department also intends to develop the infrastructure for IT Unit. A post of Junior Programmer and one post of Data Entry Operator will be continued in the year of 2026-27. Besides this, equipment like Computers and its related accessories, scanners, Xerox machines will be purchased for digitalization of record.
