No documentation checks for this scheme
The nine checks measure what myScheme publishes about a scheme. There is no myScheme
record here to measure, so this page shows none. A score of nought would read
as a verdict on the scheme when it is a fact about the portal.

Haryana Women Development Corporation was incepted with a view to promote activities for women’s development, awareness generation, vocational training and to arrange institutional finance for self-employment of women. To make women economically independent, more and more women are required to be channelized into income generating activities. But the women, without any resources are incapable of starting their ventures. Since group activities through community mobilization is over emphasized as an empowerment strategy, more and more SHGs are emerging at the village level. Unless these women groups are linked with economic institutions, the vital issue of economic empowerment of women cannot be adequately addressed. Within this context, to make economic resources more easily accessible to women, Haryana women development corporation (HWDC) plays a vital role through its loaning schemes. It is envisaged to cover at least 5,000 prospective women entrepreneurs every year, not only to give direction and strength to the existing SHGs but also to motivate more and more women to take up income generating activities to become productive members of the society.
How this was judged a scheme rather than a budget head
A state budget book lists colleges, directorates and building heads beside schemes.
This row scored 1 on published signals: the provision is establishment money, not works.
It does NOT clear the higher bar this register uses before saying a scheme is hidden from citizens, so it is listed here and not named there. Listing a budget head as a scheme is an annoyance; naming one as hidden would be a false accusation, and the two are not the same claim.
