The Department organizes seminars, workshops and conferences for coaches, sports officials and athletes to keep them abreast with latest development in their field. The scheme covers seminars, workshops and conferences on game specific themes. With a view to promote ‘akhadas’ which are in large number in the State, akhada competitions will be organized regularly. The award money for winners at the district level i.e. District Kesari and District Kumar and at the State Level i.e. State Kesari and State Kumar is intended to be brought at honorable level. Supplementary diet is provided made on the line of SAI. Approximately 24 Sports competitions and 03 Khelo India Youth Games will be organized under this scheme during the year 2026-2027.
