Janani Suraksha Yojana (JSY) is a scheme of providing additional cash incentive to SC/ST beneficiaries per institutional delivery for promoting ante-natal care, institutional care during delivery and immediate post-partum period. The total expected population of Haryana in 2026 is 3.14crore. The projected population of SC for 2026 is 60,61,937. Additional cash incentive @ `1500/- per SC/ST beneficiary of JSY scheme is to be given in addition to the Centrally Sponsored JSY to around 33,334 beneficiaries.
