No documentation checks for this scheme
The nine checks measure what myScheme publishes about a scheme. There is no myScheme
record here to measure, so this page shows none. A score of nought would read
as a verdict on the scheme when it is a fact about the portal.
What Haryana publishes about this
From the state’s own budget books · myScheme has no
record of it
Mahatma Gandhi Gramin Basti Yojana was launched in Haryana in the year 2008. The scheme is aimed to allot free residential plots of 100 Square yard each to the eligible Scheduled Castes families, Backward Class (Category- A) families and Below Poverty Line (BPL) families in the villages out of the available suitable shamlat land. In the first phase, the plots are being provided out of the shamlat lands, available with the Panchayats and in the villages where no suitable Panchayat land is available, it is being made available either by way of exchange with that of the private land owners or by acquisition. Basic infrastructural facilities such as streets, drinking water, drainage, power supply etc. are being provided alongwith these residential plots in a phased manner. Further, a sum of `10,000/-per acre per year is being paid as annuity to those Gram Panchayats whose land had already been utilized for the purpose of allotment of plots.
How this was judged a scheme rather than a budget head
A state budget book lists colleges, directorates and building heads beside schemes.
This row scored 3 on published signals: a benefit word in the name.
It does NOT clear the higher bar this register uses before saying a scheme is hidden from citizens, so it is listed here and not named there. Listing a budget head as a scheme is an annoyance; naming one as hidden would be a false accusation, and the two are not the same claim.
