In order to meet the housing demand of needy families residing in Rural areas in the State, the Department of Housing For All has prepared a policy namely Mukhya Mantri Gramin Awas Yojana-Extension (MMGAY-E) for providing 50Sq. Yd. plots in Mahagram Panchayat and 100 Sq. Yd. plots in regular Panchayats to the needy identified families having verified annual income upto `1.80 lac as per Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP). To register the applicants, a portal has been created by the Department of Housing For All. In year 2024-25, 4002 eligible families from 62 Gram Panchayats have been allotted plots and provisional Allotment letter of 100/50 sq.yds. A provision has also been made to provide financial assistance of ₹ 1.38 lakh to these beneficiaries for construction of their pucca house under PMAY-Gramin. In 2nd phase, 8029 applicants of 143 GPs (141 other GPs + 2 Mahagram Panchayats) of 15 districts have been provided plots through draw of lots on 14.10.2025.
