Scheme Name: National Livestock Mission-Training & Assistance for Quality Fodder Seed Production(100%) and Code No. 3-10-2403-51-789-82-51- Scheme Name: National Livestock Mission-Training & Assistance for Quality Fodder for Scheduled Castes (SCSP) (100%) Outlay: ₹2,50,00,000/- The National Livestock Mission (NLM) provides focused support for strengthening fodder resources through “Training & Assistance for Quality Fodder Seed Production (100%)” under the Sub-Mission on Feed and Fodder Development. In Haryana, this scheme component is being implemented to establish an effective fodder seed production chain comprising breeder, foundation and certified seed. The scheme provides 100% central assistance for incentivizing quality fodder seed production by eligible agencies such as ICAR institute. National Seed Corporation, State Agricultural Universities, State Seed Corporations, Dairy Cooperatives and other credible organizations. Financial assistance is provided on a per kilogram basis for different categories of seeds, thereby encouraging multiplication of high-yielding and improved fodder varieties. The first installment is released after approval of a viable proposal, while the second installment is provided after production and self-certification of seed by the concerned agency. Where farmers are engaged in seed production, 75% of the subsidy is passed on to farmers and 25% retained by the producing agency towards operational and certification costs. The programme also emphasizes capacity building of field functionaries and livestock owners through training, awareness and technical guidance in forage production, conservation and utilization. By ensuring timely availability of certified quality fodder seed, the initiative aims to enhance green fodder production, reduce feed deficit, and support sustainable livestock development in Haryana. *****

It also clears the higher bar this register uses before saying a scheme is hidden from citizens, and it is named on /divergence.
