This scheme comprises provision of salary/wages for staff sanctioned to run of 382 Government Veterinary Hospitals and 479 Government Veterinary Dispensaries that have been opened/upgraded, 21 mobile vans and 2 Disease diagnostic labs functioning in the State since 2005-06 as well as staff of the 8 Veterinary Poly Clinics and 2 Bio Safety Level-II Lab at Sonipat and Raipur Rani at Panchkula setup to provide specialized Veterinary Services to livestock of the State. Apart from this, provision has also been made for the supply of equipment, chemicals glass wares as well as to provide general veterinary care by way of supply of general veterinary medicines and drugs for the ailing livestock free of cost through the Government Veterinary Hospitals and Veterinary Dispensaries.
