No documentation checks for this scheme
The nine checks measure what myScheme publishes about a scheme. There is no myScheme
record here to measure, so this page shows none. A score of nought would read
as a verdict on the scheme when it is a fact about the portal.
What Haryana publishes about this
From the state’s own budget books · myScheme has no
record of it

Under this scheme, an academic allowance of ₹3500/- per annum is provided to the day scholars and ₹8000/- per annum is provided to the hosteller students. The name of the scheme has been changed by GOI from “Award of Pre-Matric Scholarship to Children of those engaged in Unclean Occupations i.e. scavenging of dry latrines flaying, tanning etc. to “Award of Pre-Matric Scholarship to the children of those occupation involving cleaning and prone to health hazard”. At present, three hostels are functioning in the State namely at Yamunanagar, Jind and Ambala.
How this was judged a scheme rather than a budget head
A state budget book lists colleges, directorates and building heads beside schemes.
This row scored 3 on published signals: the provision is establishment money, not works; the Centre shares the cost; the state files it as a shared scheme.
It does NOT clear the higher bar this register uses before saying a scheme is hidden from citizens, so it is listed here and not named there. Listing a budget head as a scheme is an annoyance; naming one as hidden would be a false accusation, and the two are not the same claim.
