The objective of the scheme is to facilitate placement activities in the Private Sector to provide employment opportunities to the unemployed youth of the State. All District Employment Exchanges organize Job Fairs on quarterly basis. These Job Fairs have been very effective in bringing unemployed persons and employers at one platform. The Employment Department acts as a facilitator between the employers and the applicants. Funds under the scheme shall be utilized for organizing 200 Job Fairs/Placement drives to provide job opportunities.
