The objective of this scheme is to introduce E-Governance in the Department and business process re-engineering for effective and efficient discharge of public services delivery. In order to strengthen Information & Technology Infrastructure, Broadband & Internet services will be provided. Purchase of computers, allied items and accessories for Headquarters, including press section, CM Cell, photo section, Delhi office, Radio & Press Liaison Office, Rohtak and the office of Deputy Director (NCR), Gurugram. Setting up Communication System through PBX along with lease lines to inter connect Public Relation offices and residences of senior functionaries of the Department at Chandigarh and Panchkula for enhanced communication will be set up including web-studio, use of IT tools in the development has improved functioning and delivery of the various services.
