Rajiv Gandhi Pariwar Bima Yojana has been launched w.e.f. 1.4.2006 to give compensation of `1.00 lakh on account of death/permanent disability of a person of Haryana domicile. In other cases, `0.25 lakh to `0.50 lakh on the basis of disability percentage is also given. Coverage is given to all the persons of Haryana domicile between the age group of 18-60 years. As per provision in the Scheme, the claims are to be lodged with Sub-Divisional Officers (Civil) concerned, who are the Nodal Officers under the scheme. This scheme is discontinued w.e.f. 31-03-2017. The funds are required to clear the pending cases.
