The goal of the department is to provide accessibility of elementary education within a radius of one kilometer of primary schools & three kilometers of upper primary schools as per provisions of the R.T.E Act, 2009 (affordable to all school going students). Objective of this scheme is to provide free and compulsory education, quality education in a clean and healthy learning environment to the students of the age group 6–14 years. The following benefits to the students of classes 1st to 8th will be provided during the year 2026-27 by the Elementary Education Department on the State resources as per provisions of Right of Children to free and Compulsory Education Act. / Rules in the State of Haryana:-
