Delay Compensation:- As per MGNREGA guideline in case the payment of wages is not made within 15 days from the date of closure of the muster roll, the wage seeker shall be entitled to receive payment of compensation for the delay 16th day of closer of Muster Roll. As per MGNREGA Act, the State Govt. has to pay the delay compensation to the worker and subsequently recovers the amount from the responsible functionary/institutions who has caused the delay. Unemployment Allowance: A person who is registered under MGNREGS and issued a job card and who has submitted an application seeking employment and whose application is registered in the demand of work registered, shall be entitled to Unemployment allowance, in case, employment is not provided within 15 days of the receipt of the work demand. The Unemployment allowance will be paid @ equal to the ¼ of the prevailing wage rate for the first 30 days and equal to ½ of the wage rate for the remaining period. Note:-This scheme will be replaced by Viksit Bharat – Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (Gramin): VB-G RAM G & this component will also be applicable for implementation of VB-G RAM G.
