No documentation checks for this scheme
The nine checks measure what myScheme publishes about a scheme. There is no myScheme
record here to measure, so this page shows none. A score of nought would read
as a verdict on the scheme when it is a fact about the portal.
What Haryana publishes about this
From the state’s own budget books · myScheme has no
record of it
Under this scheme, department is providing grant-in-aid to the societies setup for prevention of cruelty to animals. The Government of Haryana has declared 22 Veterinary Institutions/Government Veterinary Hospitals as infirmaries under the provisions of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960, Such institutions are basically set up to provide shelter and other basic facilities to the Infirm & helpless animals. In order to make these Infirmaries functional, apart from the infrastructure to be provided, additional manpower needs to be deployed at these Institutions. It is also proposed that the management of these Infirmaries will be under overall control of the concerned Society for the prevention of cruelty as under consideration of Deputy Commissioner of District concerned. To provide the services of Societies for Prevention of Cruelty at gross- root level in the State all the veterinary Hospital/DDL and polyclinics are made child units of Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animal (SPCA) as Pashu Sawasthay Kalyan Samitti (PSKS).
How this was judged a scheme rather than a budget head
A state budget book lists colleges, directorates and building heads beside schemes.
This row scored 1 on published signals: the provision is establishment money, not works.
It does NOT clear the higher bar this register uses before saying a scheme is hidden from citizens, so it is listed here and not named there. Listing a budget head as a scheme is an annoyance; naming one as hidden would be a false accusation, and the two are not the same claim.
