The nine checks measure what myScheme publishes about a scheme. There is no myScheme
record here to measure, so this page shows none. A score of nought would read
as a verdict on the scheme when it is a fact about the portal.

Centre Share: `0/- State Share: `60,00,000/- This is a Centrally Sponsored Scheme started in the year 2020-21. Sericulture includes mulberry plantation and rearing of silkworms on the leaves of the plants for production of cocoon and thereafter raw silk. It is land-based activity having several advantages such as labor-intensive low capital investment and good returns. Sericulture is gaining popularity over the years as a house-hold industry and a remunerative avenue for income generation in rural areas. The bye products like mulberry wood, fruits, waste leave, silkworm litter, silk waste and pupae etc. also supplement the household income on regular basis throughout the year. In this scheme the provision for subsidy is 75% (CS: 50%+SS: 25%+Ben: 25%) for General Farmers and 90% (CS: 65%+ SS: 25%+ Ben: 10%) for SC Farmers. The objective of the scheme are to promote sericulture in favorable ecology & to create productivity employment opportunities in rural areas by promoting sericulture as a cottage industry. • To bring horizontal and vertical growth in cocoon production in the cluster. • To harness the available natural resources viz. waste/ degraded land for development for viable and sustainable Sericulture. • To bring out entrepreneurial abilities among local people. • To provide need cased infrastructure support to silk industry to ensure regular support of raw material to the reeling industry.
How this was judged a scheme rather than a budget head
A state budget book lists colleges, directorates and building heads beside schemes.
This row scored 2 on published signals: the provision is establishment money, not works; the state files it as a shared scheme.
It does NOT clear the higher bar this register uses before saying a scheme is hidden from citizens, so it is listed here and not named there. Listing a budget head as a scheme is an annoyance; naming one as hidden would be a false accusation, and the two are not the same claim.
