Aim of this scheme is to provide technical and financial assistance to the persons belonging to Schedule Caste families engaged in fisheries sector. Subsidy will be provided under various components such as renovation of ponds (both panchayati and own land ponds) Ist year lease money, 2nd year onward and lease money, purchase of fishing nets, subsidy to purchase Rehri along with (store, gas chulla, utensil etc.) for the fish/ fish product sale, inputs and subsidy on annual auction of notified water etc.
