The State Level women awards are given on the occasion of International Women’s Day i.e. 8th March, every year. These awards are given to the women achievers who have done outstanding work in different fields so that they become role models for future generations for Indian women. In order to encourage rural girls for pursuing higher education, an award is proposed for top 3 girls who stand1st, 2nd, and 3rd in their Matriculation and Senior Secondary Examination conducted by Haryana State Education Board. The other awards are also given under this scheme i.e. Best Mother Award, Sports meet for Women, Nutrition Awards etc. The award money given by the State Government is as under:- Award money in ` Class 1st Prize 2nd Prize 3rd Prize Matriculation Examination 8000/- 6000/- 4000/- Senior Secondary Examination 12000/- 10000/- 8000/-
