The scheme provides an Interest Free Loan up to a maximum of ₹1,00,000/- for the purchase of a Laptop, which is issued via Cheque through Messers Goa Education Development Corporation (GEDC), Government of Goa. The applications for this scheme are accepted through the respective educational institution and subsequently forwarded to the Directorate of Education.

Who qualifies

  • The applicant must be a regular/permanent full-time teacher.
  • The applicant must be teaching in Secondary schools or Higher Secondary schools.
  • The applicant must be working in a Government school or in a Government Aided school.
  • The applicant must be covered under the Administrative control of the Directorate of Education in the State of Goa.
