It provides financial assistance for fish farming, fish seed rearing, and procurement of essential fisheries equipment, benefiting individuals, societies, and self-help groups involved in inland fisheries.

Who qualifies

Individuals/ societies/ self-help groups/ associations/ reservoir monopolies/ private units etc. involved in inland fisheries activities can avail the benefits of inland schemes.
The applicant should be a Fisherman.
Applicant should be above 18 years of age.
Applicant must have own private land/leased land to avail new pond construction assistance for fish farming (In case of two or more land holders consent form of other land holders must be submitted).
The beneficiary fisherman must have his own bank account.
