Integrated Scheme for Export Promotion & Quality Improvement in Spices and Research and Development of Cardamom: Post-Harvest Improvement: Seed spice thresher (nos) is implemented by the /Spices Board, India, under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India.
To motivate the farmers to adopt hygienic threshing practices for production of quality seed spices using mechanical seed spices threshers (power operated)
The scheme is being implemented in accordance with the modalities and guidelines approved by the Competent Authority under the Integrated Scheme for Export Promotion & Quality Improvement in Spices and Research and Development of Cardamom during the 15th Finance Commission period (2021–22 to 2025–26).
Who qualifies
1.Preferably in all seed spice growing states and regions in India/UT.
- Designated Officials will conduct final inspection and recommend the eligible cases.
- An individual grower having 0.40 ha and up to 8 ha is eligible to apply.
What you get
- 50 % of cost of unit, subject to a maximum of ₹ 75,000/- per unit for General Category and 75% subject to maximum of ₹1,12,000/- per unit for NE/SC/ST & 90% Spice Producer's Groups in Identified Clusters subject to maximum of ₹ 1,35,000/-
- Assistance for groups/FPOs will be as in QGBG
