Subsidy for Purchase of Tractor

  • Financial assistance in the form of subsidy is provided for the purchase of a tractor.
  • The tractor must have a minimum power of 35 Horsepower (HP).
  • The farmer may purchase a tractor of any make from the list of empanelled manufacturers.
  • The subsidy amount is released after purchase, verification, and approval by the competent authority.

Conditions Related to Benefits

  • The selected farmer must purchase the tractor within 15 days of selection.
  • The tractor must be physically verified by the committee constituted by the District Level Executive Committee.
  • The beneficiary cannot sell or transfer the tractor for 5 years from the date of purchase.
  • If the tractor is sold before the completion of 5 years, the beneficiary must refund the subsidy amount along with applicable interest.
