It provides financial assistance to reduce dropout rates from classes 1st to 10th and promote equality in education.

Who qualifies

  • The applicant/parents/guardians should be a native of Jharkhand.
  • The applicant should be a student.
  • The applicant must belong to the Other Backward Class category.
  • The applicant must be enrolled in a state government-recognized school.
  • There is no income limit for students from Class 1st to 8th.1. The applicant's annual family income should not exceed ₹2,50,000/- for Class 9th and 10th.
