Who qualifies
- The applicant should be a member of Police Forces, Security Organizations, Intelligence Wings, or Forensic Science Institutions.
- The applicant should demonstrate excellence in Special Operation, Investigation, Intelligence, or Forensic Science.
- The applicant should not have any pending judicial proceedings or departmental enquiry.
- The applicant should not have received any major penalty in the last 5 years.
- The applicant should be recommended by the concerned authority.
- The applicant should not be recommended for multiple fields for the same operation.
- The applicant should meet specific criteria for the respective field (operation, investigation, intelligence, or forensic work).
What you get
- Medal awarded to selected officials/officers.
- Certificate (Scroll) signed by the Union Home Minister.
- National recognition through publication in the Gazette of India (except Intelligence cases).
- Recording of additional achievements through Bars for repeated acts.
