  • The beneficiary must be a resident of Uttarakhand.
  • The beneficiary must have availed assistance under the Silk Tree Plantation Scheme.
  • The beneficiary must have at least 300 mulberry plants available for silkworm rearing.

What you get

Under this scheme, financial assistance of ₹1,00,000/- is provided for the construction of a silkworm rearing chamber on an 80:10:10 cost-sharing basis. The farmer contributes ₹10,000/- for completing the foundation of the chamber, while the state government provides ₹90,000/- as a subsidy in two equal installments.
