Through this scheme, monetary scholarships ranging from ₹5,000 to ₹20,000 are provided to Dhangar students based on their academic performance in SSC and HSSC board examinations. The applications for this scheme are accepted online. The scheme is being implemented by the Chief Minister Scholarship Portal, Government of Goa.

Who qualifies

For Rank Holders Category

  • The applicant must belong to the Dhangar community.
  • The applicant must be among the top 5 rank holders in their respective examination (SSC or HSSC).
  • The applicant has no income ceiling restrictions.

For Merit-based Awards

  • The applicant must belong to the Dhangar community.
  • The applicant's annual family income should be less than ₹2,00,000/-.
  • The applicant must achieve the minimum qualifying percentage as per the benefit slabs.
