Who qualifies

This scheme is specifically for Divyang and Women that belong to following :

  • BPL family belonging to the Scheduled Tribe category
  • Minority category BPL families
  • Specially Qualified Individuals (Not Income Tax Payers)
  • A female player (if self-married) who fulfills the prescribed criteria as per the circulars issued by the Personnel Department. Self or parents are not income taxpayers.
  • Beneficiary in Palanhar Yojana.

What you get

  • The implementation of this scheme will be reviewed at the district level and a committee meeting will be held every 3 months.
  • The state government will provide financial assistance of ₹ 31,000 to ₹ 41,000 to the eligible beneficiaries at the time of the girl's marriage.
  • Under this scheme, a provision of savings of about ₹24 crore has been approved.
  • If the girls of the state pass 10th then the government will provide an amount of ₹41 thousand at the time of their marriage.
  • If the girls of the state pass 12th then the government will provide an amount of ₹51 thousand at the time of their marriage.
