The “Mamasaheb Phadke Management of Government Adarsh Residential Schools (SC)” scheme was launched by the Social Justice and Empowerment Department, Government of Gujarat. The scheme aims to expand access to quality residential education for scheduled caste (SC) students in standards 9th to 12th. Under this scheme, eligible SC students receive free boarding, lodging, textbooks, uniforms, meals, and additional support services to enhance academic participation.

Who qualifies

  • The applicant should be a student.
  • The applicant should belong to the Scheduled Caste (SC) category.
  • The applicant must be a resident of Gujarat.
  • The applicant must be currently studying in standard 9th to 12th in a recognized institution.1. The applicant must have passed the previous annual exam with at least 50% marks (or a government-sanctioned exemption).

> NOTE: Returning students must have passed with at least a second class with  50% to be considered for re-admission.
