The "Mahila Samruddhi Yojana" is implemented by the Dr. Ambedkar Antyodaya Development Corporation (DAADC) under the Social Justice and Empowerment Department, Government of Gujarat. The scheme aims to promote self-employment and financial independence among women from the Antyodaya Samaj, especially from Scheduled Castes. Under this scheme, loans are provided at a concessional interest rate to eligible women for starting small-scale businesses.

Who qualifies

  • The applicant should be a permanent resident of Gujarat.
  • The applicant should be a woman.
  • The applicant should belong to the Scheduled Caste (SC) category.
  • The applicant should belong to the Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY) family or be from the economically backward class.
  • The applicant’s annual family income should not exceed ₹3,00,000/-.
  • The applicant should be planning to start a self-employment venture or micro-enterprise.
