In detail

The scheme "Mahila Samrudhhi Yojana (Gujarat Gopalak Vikas Nigam)" by the Social Justice and Empowerment Department, Government of Gujarat, aims to provide Microfinance for individual women entrepreneurs to create self-employment for women and make them self-reliant. Under this scheme, loans are provided on an individual basis to women beneficiaries to start a business of their choice. The scheme is implemented by the Gujarat Gopalak Vikas Nigam.

Who qualifies

  • The applicant should belong to the Rabari and Bharwad castes from the socially and educationally backwards classes.
  • The applicant should be a woman.
  • The applicant's age should be between 21 and 45 years.
  • The applicant's annual income should not exceed ₹3,00,000/-.

What you get

  • The scheme provides 100% of the loan amount to eligible women beneficiaries, up to a maximum limit of ₹1,25,000/-.
  • The loan carries an interest rate of 4% per annum.
