Who qualifies

  • The applicant must be a resident of Chhattisgarh.
  • The applicant must be a married woman.
  • The applicant must be at least 21 years old as of 1st January of the year of application.
  • The applicant can also be a widow / divorced / abandoned woman.

What you get

  • Each eligible woman will receive ₹1000/- per month.
  • Women receiving less than ₹1000/- per month under social assistance programs and various pension schemes through the Samaj Kalyan Vibhag will receive additional assistance to a total ₹1,000/- per month.
  • The assistance will be directly deposited into the applicant's Aadhaar-linked DBT-based bank account.

Who is excluded

  • The applicant's family must not have any member who is an income taxpayer.
  • The applicant's family must not have any member who is a permanent, temporary, or contractual employee of the Government of India or the State Government in any department/undertaking/board/local body, working in the first, second, or third class position.
  • The applicant's family must not have any member who is a current or former Member of Parliament (MP) or Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA).
  • The applicant's family must not have any member who is a current or former chairman or vice-chairman of any board, corporation, or council of the Government of India or the State Government.
