In detail

The New Swarnima Scheme is a financial empowerment initiative by the Gujarat Gopalak Vikas Nigam under the Social Justice and Empowerment Department. It aims to provide 100% loan support to women from the Rabari and Bharwad communities to promote self-employment and entrepreneurship.

Eligible women between the age of 21 and 45 years, with an annual family income up to ₹3 lakh, can receive a loan of up to ₹2 lakh at a subsidized interest rate of 5% per annum to start a business of their choice.
