The NIDHI Seed Support Program (NIDHI-SSP) is implemented by the Department of Science and Technology under the Ministry of Science and Technology. The Scheme is designed to provide timely financial assistance to the incubators to support potential startups with promising ideas, innovations and technologies. The key objective of the NIDHI- Seed Support Program (NIDHI-SSP) is to ensure availability of the seed support through incubators for providing timely support to potential startups, thereby enabling them to take their ventures to the next level and facilitate their success in the marketplace. The scheme also enables the incubators to widen their pipeline of startups and also share the success of their startups which would also result in ensuring their long term operational sustainability. This seed support is intended to act as a bridge between the development and commercialization of innovative technologies, products, and services, and to facilitate the success of incubatee startups in a relatively hassle-free manner.

What you get

For Incubators/TBIs:

The maximum financial support that will be made available to an incubator is INR 1000 lakh, which will be released in phases according to the needs, capacity, and capabilities of the incubator, following a proper process.

For Startups/Entrepreneurs:

The maximum support that will be given to a deserving startup is up to INR 100 lakh. This support will be provided to help startups get off the ground and grow, increasing their chances of success in the marketplace.
