The training is preliminary, intended to help tiatr artistes enhance performance standards. The applicant must be an individual interested in training in tiatr's various aspects, including song and music performances, and must submit a self-attested copy of their Aadhaar Card with the application. The scheme is implemented by the Tiatr Academy of Goa. Applications for this scheme are accepted through the local press or by invitation to Konkani Dramatic Troupes.
