Under this scheme, financial assistance is provided for fish seed rearing activities to women involved in inland fisheries.

  • The main objective is to provide employment opportunities to Scheduled Tribe fishermen in the state and increase fish production.

Who qualifies

  • The applicant must be a resident of Gujarat.
  • The applicant must be an Individual woman involved in inland fisheries activities.
  • The applicant must be from the Scheduled Tribe.
  • The applicant must be above 18 years.
  • The beneficiary fisherwoman must have her own bank account.
  • The applicant must have an Aadhar Card/Voter ID/Ration Card/Passport as proof of identity.

What you get

  • The ₹90/- will be paid per 1,000 numbers, with a minimum 30% recovery for spawn to fry.
  • The rearing time for fish seed is 30 days.
