Who qualifies

  • The applicant must be a permanent resident of Uttarakhand.
  • The applicant must be a boy or girl between 14 and 23 years of age.
  • The boy or girl who obtain the highest marks based on merit in the final district-level competition, conducted through various stages of the Physical and Sports Aptitude Test (P-SAT) assessing physical abilities such as strength, flexibility, endurance, speed, and coordination, will be eligible for the sports scholarship.
  • Scholarships are awarded on a priority basis in the following sports: (1) Athletics, (2) Badminton, (3) Boxing, (4) Taekwondo, (5) Kabaddi, (6) Football, (7) Volleyball, (8) Basketball, (9) Hockey, (10) Table Tennis, (11) Karate, and (12) Judo.
