Who qualifies

> General Eligibility

  • The village must have at least 50% Scheduled Tribe (ST) population.
  • The village must have a population of at least 500 in plain areas; 250 in hilly/tribal areas.
  • The village must be selected by the State/UT Government based on criteria defined in the guidelines.

> Preference / Priority

  • Preference is given to villages with higher ST population concentration.
  • Priority is given to villages with significant infrastructure gaps.

  • Financial Assistance: ₹20,38,000/- per village for infrastructure gap filling and development activities. - Infrastructure Development: Support for roads, drinking water, sanitation, education, health, and livelihood infrastructure. - Village Development Plan (VDP): Preparation and execution of need-based development plans for selected villages. - Convergence Support: Integration with existing Central and State schemes to maximize development impact. - Awards And Incentives: ₹5,00,000/- per village at State level for best performing villages and ₹10,00,000/- per village at National level for top selected villages.
