Who qualifies

For Registration as a Building/Construction Worker:

  • The applicant must be a resident of Himachal Pradesh.
  • The applicant must be a Building or Construction Worker.
  • The age of the applicant should be between 18 and 60 years.
  • The applicant should have worked in building or construction activities for at least 90 days in the preceding 12 months.
  • The registration must be renewed annually.

Eligibility Criteria for Pension Scheme:

  • The worker should be registered as a Building or Construction worker with the "Himachal Pradesh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board".
  • The worker's membership with the Welfare Board must be active.
  • The worker should be 60 years of age or older.
  • The beneficiary should have been a continuous member of the Board for three years before attaining the age of 60 years.
