The scheme “Pension Scheme to Old Age Persons (Senior Citizen)” is implemented by the Social Welfare Department, UT of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu. The scheme aims to support senior citizens in meeting their basic needs during old age. It is specifically targeted at domicile of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu who are 60 years and above, with an annual family income not exceeding ₹1.5 lakh per annum. Under this scheme, eligible individuals aged 60–69 years receive a monthly pension of ₹1,500/-, while those aged 70 years and above receive ₹2,000/- per month.

Who qualifies

  • The applicant should be a domicile of the Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu.
  • The applicant should be 60 years or older.
  • The applicant's annual family income should not exceed ₹1,50,000/-.
  • The applicant should not be receiving financial assistance under any other old age pension scheme.
